About We Art St. Pete
We Art St. Pete is more than a gallery—
we’re a movement committed to equity, creativity, and community.
Founded by a team of working artists, We Art is a nonprofit organization dedicated to supporting BIPOC artists, with a strong focus on uplifting female creators and self-taught talent often overlooked by the traditional art world.
We provide the tools, training, and visibility artists need to build sustainable careers—without compromising their truth.
What We Do
🎨 Nonprofit Gallery & Studio Space
We showcase and sell original work by emerging BIPOC artists in our community gallery and pop-up shows across Tampa Bay.
📚 Education & Career Development
From free online toolkits to expert-led mini courses and 1:1 mentorship, we help artists grow their business and their confidence.
💻 Digital Artist Support
We run a full online platform offering artist resources, downloadable guides, grant-writing support, and collector connection tools.
🤝 Collectors Circle & Sales Funnels
We help real buyers discover and invest in original art, while educating new collectors on how to start—and why BIPOC artists matter.
💡 Public Art & Youth Programs
We partner with schools, libraries, and cultural institutions to bring community art projects, workshops, and educational programs to life.
Why it Matters
Despite contributing over $900 billion to the U.S. economy, the arts still lack adequate representation of BIPOC creators—especially women. When you invest in these artists, you’re not just buying art.
You’re investing in visibility, voice, and real equity.
We believe creativity should be a career path—not a privilege.
Join the Movement
Whether you're an artist looking for guidance, a collector seeking meaningful work, or a supporter of creative equity—you belong here.
With creativity and community,
